Back to Business!

Whew! Now that the election for Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation is over, it is time to get back to the business of researching and writing about our history and genealogy. Though it seems as if we put those topics on the back burner, I assure you, research has been taking place, even though I have not written about it. Lots and lots of things to come soon. I will finally be able to start sharing what I have found under the topic of "Fortune Hunters, the Guion Miller Roll and the Birth of the Wannabe," as well as an extensive amount of information complied by a team of researchers on the James Keith family that shows, without a doubt, he was not the Cherokee man named Crane Eater. I was also able to get an interview with Cynthia Thompson, the owner of the new website, Native Findings, and additionally have started a new facebook page, Save Our Historic Cherokee Sites. Stay tuned. Lots of exciting information to come soon!

Those are my thoughts for today.
Thanks for reading.
