Cherokee Nation Voter Information - 2015

It's election year in the Cherokee Nation. It is important that everyone is registered to vote. A blue card or the new photo ID is not enough. One must go through the voter registration process. All Cherokee Nation citizens over the age of 18 are eligible to vote no matter where they reside.

In order to vote in this year's election, one must be registered to vote by March 31, 2015.

Voter registration forms can be found by clicking on the oval below.

For those not able to vote in person, absentee ballots are available if you request them by May 8, 2015. The form to request an absentee ballot can be found by clicking on the oval below and then clicking to open or save the file to your computer.

Please make sure you are registered to vote and that you request an absentee ballot if you need one. All elections are important and your vote becomes your voice. Let your voice be heard.

Those are my thoughts for today.
Thanks for reading.
